Activities for Kids

Weymouth Child Family Community Center – The WCFCC is housed in the Johnson Early Education Center at 70 Pearl Street in North Weymouth (at door #7 in the rear of the building).  The Center is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools. The programs help to enrich family life through education and play for Weymouth families with children prenatal to age five years. The CFCE programs work to support all Weymouth families as their child’s first teacher, develop community partnerships, and provide quality early educational experiences.

Weymouth Recreation – The Town of Weymouth has an exceptional recreation department offering programs for children throughout the year. Their popular summer programs offer an array of activities for children of all ages, many of which are in North Weymouth, taking full advantage of the waterfront resources.

Weymouth Town Libraries – Tufts Main Library at 46 Broad Street offers numerous services from Story Times, discounted museum passes, book clubs, and much more. There is also Fogg Library in Columbian Square.

Weymouth Boy/Cub Scouts – Troop 2 – Boys in North Weymouth are eligible to join Troop 2 Cub/Boy Scouts, located at the Weymouth Heights Club at 598 North Street. Troop 2 collects bottles and cans at both the Weymouth Heights Club and the North Weymouth Fire Station on Athens Street. Look for the blue bins in the parking lots.

Weymouth Cub Scouts – Troop 303-BSA Cub Scout Troop 303 meets at St. Jerome Church, Bridge Street, North Weymouth.

Weymouth Girl Scouts – Girls Scouts typically meet through the schools (both public and private).
