Weymouth Child Family Community Center – The WCFCC is housed in the Johnson Early Education Center on Pearl St. in North Weymouth. The entrance is in the rear of the building. The Child Family Community Center (CFC) is a grant program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools. The Child Family Community Center offers programs to families who live in Weymouth. The CFC programs help to enrich family life through education and play for families with children prenatal to age five years.
Weymouth Recreation – The Town of Weymouth has an exceptional recreation department that offers programs all year long that cater to children starting at age 3/4. They have a very popular summer program that offers an array of activities for children of all ages. Many of their programs are offered in North Weymouth – taking advantage of it’s waterfront resources.
Weymouth Town Libraries – The main branch library (Tufts Library) is located in Weymouth Landing and offers numerous services from Story Times, Discounted Museum Passes, Book Clubs and much more. North Weymouth houses the North Branch library on North Street. They offer a wide selection of books as well as Story Times for children 0-5 at the North Branch. Weymouth Boy/Cub Scouts – Troop 2 – Boys in North Weymouth are eligible to join Troop 2 Cub/Boy Scouts. Troop 2 is housed at the Weymouth Heights Club on Commercial St – right over the train tracks near the Green St./North St. intersection. Troop 2 also continuously collects your bottles and cans at both the Weymouth Heights Club and the North Weymouth Fire Station. Look for the blue bins in the parking lots.
Weymouth Cub Scouts – Troop 303 – BSA Cub Scout Troop 303 meets at St. Jerome’s Church, located on 3A (Bridge St.).
Weymouth Girl Scouts – Girls Scouts typically meet through the schools (both public and private).

Whipple Senior Center – Weymouth has a very vibrant senior center. They offer many resources for those in town who are over the age of 55. The senior center is conveniently located in North Weymouth on Green St.
Veteran’s Affairs – Weymouth is a town that takes great pride in it’s military heritage. Five Weymouth citizens have been awarded the Medal of Honor, making it the city with most Medal of Honor recipients in the United States. The Veteran’s Affairs office is located at the Whipple Senior Center on Green St. in North Weymouth.
Weymouth Garden Club – Established in 1931 to promote an interest and give instructions in gardening and also to help beautify Weymouth. The WGC works to help beautify parts of North Weymouth, including the Abigail Adams Birthplace, and also holds annual plant sales.
